All The Other Lucys is a registered charity set up to provide supported living services to adults with learning disability and/or are on the autism spectrum. A charity set up to look at dignified living-housing arrangements for Lucy and others like Lucy for their time after college.
In 2017, when faced with limited options for young adults like Lucy who were nearing the end of their college education, the concept of establishing a safe and independent living space for them was conceived. The objective was to provide a secure home where they could live with independence while receiving necessary support, exercise their own choices, and avail work opportunities that acknowledge their abilities.
Several significant milestones have been accomplished thus far. Firstly, a residence was acquired and inaugurated in Yeovil in September 2019, allowing Lucy and her friends Robin and Emma to settle in promptly. The home is overseen by a team of knowledgeable staff members.
Secondly, despite the challenges presented by COVID-19 and the ensuing lockdown restrictions, the organization has successfully ensured the safety and well-being of its vulnerable young tenants. Lastly, the tenants are content and feel supported and appreciated in their home. They partake in various jobs and activities throughout the week and take pleasure in contributing to the upkeep of a spacious garden.
While All The Other Lucys is a financially sustainable charity, any additional support is always welcome. The organization aspires to acquire a minibus to facilitate transportation for tenants instead of relying on individual carers' vehicles. Moreover, the long-term goal is to expand this model to other counties in England. Skittles night at Quicksilver

Our latest skittles evening at the Quicksilver mail was enjoyed by all. Scores are creeping up now that our regular skittlers are getting some practice in. Great to see everyone and huge thanks to Pete at the Quicksilver fort donating a free Sunday dinner for two voucher for our raffle.

Lucy (of All The Other Lucys) has worked at a local hair salon, Cutting Edge, for over five years now. She absolutely loves this. Jenny and all the staff love having her there. Lucy's attention to detail and genuine love of her work shines through and she continues to build on her talents with her hairdressing skills.
